I am writing to you as a constituent and as someone who believes our seniors deserve better than what they’ve been getting out of Washington.
The decision by the last Administration to cut Medicare Advantage was unacceptable. These cuts directly threatened the benefits that millions of older Americans rely on every single day — benefits like vision and dental care, affordable prescriptions, capped out-of-pocket expenses, and access to high-quality doctors and specialists.
Medicare Advantage works. It delivers better care, affordable options and peace of mind for the elderly population and the support systems around them. Nine in ten seniors support Medicare Advantage, and for good reason.
Cutting the program when healthcare costs are rising and seniors need more support than ever is reckless and dangerous. Year-over-year cuts have meant fewer resources, fewer benefits, and more uncertainty for seniors who have earned these protections. 
I appreciate that the Trump Administration has prioritized protecting Medicare Advantage but we need Congress to make that same commitment.  
It’s time to Protect Medicare Advantage and put America’s seniors first.
